The AMOR 5Kale Yeah! fundraiser is a unique opportunity to get out in nature and contribute to an important community service. Participants can register online here up until April 28. The registration fee is $35 until April 1, after that it increases to $40. Kids aged 10 and under are free. The race will start and finish at the Reserve’s picturesque beach area. Along with the race, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live music, support local vendors, meet some of our sponsors and learn about AMOR's mission.

“We believe in the strong connection between our food and our health. Our goal is to support people in our community facing critical health challenges with nutritious, plant-based meals. We do this by supporting local farmers, engaging teen volunteers and working to educate everyone on the benefits of plant-based eating, which not only aids in the recovery from illnesses but also helps optimize our health, prevent disease, and improve our quality of life,” said Maria Kelly, founder and executive director of Amor Healing Kitchen.

This event strives to be a zero-waste experience, so attendees are encouraged to bring their water bottle and beer mug as well as blanket, chairs and friends to enjoy a day of outdoor fun along with plant-based food, beer and live music. All proceeds from the 5Kale Yeah! fundraiser will go directly to support the AMOR Healing Kitchen and its mission. Donations will help the organization continue to provide nutritious meals to those in need and educate the community on the benefits of a plant-based diet.
