Maria Kelly is the Founder and Executive Director of AMOR Healing Kitchen, a Charleston-based nonprofit dedicated to nourishing people facing serious health challenges through fresh, locally sourced, plant-based meals. She founded AMOR on Valentine’s Day in 2018, inspired by her direct experience in in the healing power of food, community, and love. Under Maria’s leadership, AMOR has delivered more than 100,000 healthy, plant-based meals to individuals coping with cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and other life-altering diagnoses. Today, the organization serves more than 100 clients each week, with approximately 80% receiving meals at no cost, thanks to donations and community support

Prepared with love by teen volunteers learning nutrition and the power of community service, our mission is to nourish healing, dignity, and connection—so everyone has access to truly nourishing food.
